The german parliament passed after years a reform of the legal situation about sex crimes, which includes somehow the demand of “no means no”. This sounds good, but what exactly has changed now?
The first part of the talk will show how the reform affects everyday life. In the second part we will discuss general questions about criminal proceedings. When is it recomandable to sue? What possibilities do injured persons have? How can a process be financed?
After the talk, which will be held in german, questions can be asked in german and english.
Speaker: Ronska Grimm is attorney and represents, amongst others, injured people of sex crimes in court.
